I Know This Feeling. I Have Lived It!
Just after turning 50, I lost the career I had spent decades building. Within a short period, I had also lost both of my parents.
Everyone around me had an opinion about what I should do next. Stay where I was. Be realistic. Choose security. Just get a proper job.
It was all sensible advice, but something inside me knew I wanted more.
I didn’t have a perfect plan or know what came next. Slowly, through a series of questions, ideas and small choices, I found my way forward and created a life that felt like mine.
Now I want to share what helped me get here.
More importantly, I want to create the community I wish I had at the time, a space where women can feel seen and heard, speak honestly about what they want and explore what their more could look like together.
You do not need to have the answer.
You only need to be willing to ask the question.
Your more doesn’t need a perfect plan.
And that question can change more than you expect.
It can begin with something small: a conversation you’ve been putting off, a class you’ve always wanted to take, a trip you keep saying you’ll book, or the quiet realisation that you want your days to feel different.
You don’t have to know where it will lead.
You just need a place to begin, and women who understand that wanting more is not a rejection of the life you’ve built. It is an invitation to make room for what comes next.
